Each evening at 8 PM we hear people all over our Paris neighborhood take to their windows and balconies to show their respect for the country’s health workers on the front lines of the Corona virus pandemic.

In this video you can hear what is referred to as “window clapping” or “balcony applause”. By now, window clapping has become somewhat of a tradition and has spread to several European countries in the same situation.

All our health workers have been working extremely long hours over the past weeks and, in some cases, with limited resources. At least we can give them some moral support by publicly acknowledging their contributions to our safety and survival.

Thank you.
Wes stand for you.
We appreciate your contribution to our lives.
We support you.
We love you.
